In the Kanawha State Forest, Hemlock Falls Trail is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Charleston, West Virginia that features a waterfall. The trail is rated as moderate.  I have not been to this place, but it appears, from looking at different maps, that the falls may be accessible by a shorter route.  On the map, it looks like you have to walk out the Polly Hollow Trail and then pick up the Hemlock Falls Trail from there.

The other way would be to find your way onto CR15 to these coordinates. (38.25888, -81.69102).  It appears on multiple online maps that Hemlock Falls Trail empties onto this road and that a short walk from the road up the trail, will lead you to the falls.  Keep in mind, this is online research.  I have not been to this place.

If you go, I would love a trip report and photos.
