Pipestem Falls is located on the side of the road on WV20 approximately 11 miles south of Hinton. There is a roadside park area with picnic tables and tablet sign. There is parking for three or four cars. You will notice a set of wooden stairs on the upper end of the park. Go up there and to the left to see the upper falls. The main falls are right by the road on the edge of the green area. It's pretty dangerous to go down there, though there is a sort of path that is not entirely obvious. I didn't go into the creek, but pretty close. It was kind of sketchy with my foot against a tree trunk to keep me from falling while I rigged my tripod.
