The hike up Fall Branch is easy and rewarding. There are waterfalls all along the trail. The trail is mostly flat or easy uphill, but nothing scary or difficult. There will be getting wet if you want the best composition angles, but, it's pretty calm and easy. That said, it is a very beautiful creek with many falls and water features as well as plenty of wildflowers.
